I connected my blog to statcounter.com to get a better sense of who, where, and how often people are checking my blog. My blog shows hits from all over the U.S. like Detroit, Virginia, Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Cleveland and of course Minneapolis. And random international hits from Chile, Argentina, Spain, India, Singapore, Australia, and of course Saigon Vietnam.
The coolest feature of statcounter.com (even though I feel like I’m prying into people’s lives) is that it shows the previous link to my page. One link came from the 2nd page of someone MSN searching “Dong Duong Sex Girls” meaning “IndoChina Sex Girls.” Of course each of these four words is found on my website, but just not consecutively. Since the search was without accents, Dong can be interpreted as the Viet Dong currency which I write about in a passage. Duong was written from my comment about living on “Duong 3 Thang 2” (Feb 3rd Street). I write about sex numerous times because I do work on HIV/AIDS. And the Girl was the reference to the sentence “This video is for my GIRL Krista.”
